The GAPAsturias Cultural Association (Group of Artists of the Principality of Asturias) is a non-profit association that promotes and supports the development of artists born or resident in Asturias.
It emerges as an associative project whose objective is the promotion of artists and their works with all the means at their fingertips, both in virtual spaces: social networks, blogs, web pages, etc. as in physical spaces: cultural centers, exhibition halls, shopping centers, restaurants, hotels, etc. through exhibitions, competitions, conventions, markets, auctions and other activities that visualize your creations.
Any artist is invited to join and participate in the association and its activities: ceramicists, cartoonists, sculptors, photographers, painters, and all those who have a concern for creation in any of the manifestations, styles and formats that the art world provides.
It is also the end of the general public’s approach to the arts and vice versa, seeking to achieve a higher creative level and a greater sensitivity towards Art.
The Board of Directors of the GAPAsturias Cultural Association is formed by a group of volunteer professionals who for free “and lacking interest in the economic results of the entity by themselves or through person involved in the development of their activity in office” (Art.20.1 of the Statutes) collaborate for the sake of the same, and which we mention here:
